The Liaison Office is responsible for interconnecting the University with the Industry and other governmental and non governmental agencies to ensure the close relationships, the interexchange of information and the placement of students where needed. Within the scope of the Liaison Office is the administration of training and vocational programs.
The department benefits from an exceptionally high level of industrial collaboration and support. Each student has the opportunity to work in the industry as an intern by choosing industrial Placement during the 3rd of the 4th year of the undergraduate programe Mechanical Enginering.

Our graduates are employed in important positions by well-known companies and organisations or are self-employed in service bureaus. Also many of our students continue with postgraduate studies in Cyprus and abroad. The recent discovery of hydrocarbons in Cyprus, Egypt and Israel, but also the very promising searching done in Greece, creates a very promising career in the profession of Mechanical Engineering and especially to those who will follow the direction of Oil and Gas Engineering. The graduates of the Programme can also be employed as educators in public or private secondary schools.

- The Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK)
- Cyprus Mechanical Engineers Association (CMEA)
In addition, holders of the Mechanical Engineering degree can also enroll in international professional association.
